Our Services
Psychiatric Services for Adults in Texas & Washington, DC
Every CIP Psychiatry patient follows the same path. You start with a 50-minute evaluation so the diagnosis is right, then ongoing care pairs medication management with brief therapy at each visit. ADHD and cognitive testing, telehealth across Texas and Washington, DC, and a coordinated referral network fill in the rest. Below is how each service works and who it’s for.
How Care is Structured
The Services, in the Order Most Patients Use Them
Psychiatric Evaluation (50 Minutes), the Starting Point
Who it’s for: every new patient.
What it is: a full 50-minute visit to review your history, current symptoms, past diagnoses, medications, and the life context around them, not a rushed 15-minute consult.
How it’s delivered: in person at our Sugar Land office, or by secure telehealth anywhere in Texas or Washington, DC.
What you leave with: a preliminary diagnosis, a treatment plan, and clear next steps.
Telehealth Psychiatry Across Texas & DC
Who it’s for: patients in Texas and Washington, DC who’d rather skip the commute.
What it is: the same evaluation and follow-up care over a HIPAA-compliant video platform. No app to download, just join from any browser. E-prescriptions go straight to your pharmacy.
Where: statewide across Texas, and across every quadrant of Washington, DC.
Medication Management for Ongoing Care
Who it’s for: patients whose plan includes medication.
What it is: thoughtful prescribing tied to your diagnosis, history, and response, started, adjusted, or carefully reduced over time. Brief supportive therapy is built into each follow-up visit, so appointments are a conversation, not just a refill. When medication is no longer needed, the goal is to taper it.
How it’s delivered: 25-minute follow-up visits, in person or by telehealth.
Adult ADHD Evaluation & Cognitive Testing
Who it’s for: adults who suspect ADHD or want an objective assessment.
What it is: a structured clinical interview paired with FDA-cleared cognitive testing that measures attention, impulsivity, and activity level, a clearer picture than a checklist. It’s part of a full adult ADHD evaluation and can be completed from home.
How it’s delivered: in person or by telehealth.
