What is Telehealth Psychiatry and Telepsychiatry?
Telehealth psychiatry, also called telepsychiatry, is full psychiatric care delivered by secure video instead of in person. That includes evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and follow-up. The only difference is that you connect from home, work, or anywhere in Texas with an internet connection.
At CIP Psychiatry, telehealth is not a second-tier service. Our care team follows the same evidence-based protocols used in our Sugar Land office, including the same 50-minute initial evaluations and 25-minute follow-up visits.
Telepsychiatry suits psychiatry well because diagnosis and treatment decisions are based on what you share in conversation. The same evaluation process, treatment protocols, and follow-up standards apply to both online and in-person visits, so a video session works just as well as a face-to-face visit for most mental health conditions.

Complete Your Intake Forms
